I think the problem in case of blasphemy is lawlessness and not the law, as such. Practically the law has only added unjust tyranny to the accused who may in the end be acquitted by the court.
In the first place, the very concept of blasphemy is too vague to be defined and secondly, it is subject to vigilante-lynching, with no legal remedy, under the current judicial and social set up, overshadowed by corrupt barbaric mindset.
