hi sir can you send me the pic of filled sponsorship letter i want it to be filled because i am from indian gujrat and my fiaunce is from pakistan karachi i have the sponsorship certificate but i want a copy that is filled can you provide it please it will better help me
Do you know if the person inviting needs to be a resident in India? I wanted to invite a Pakistani friend to India for my wedding and was going to ask my mother (Indian citizen) to formally invite them since I am not an Indian citizen. But she doesn’t live in India. I wonder if this would be a problem because I read somewhere that the police visit your home in India to verify things. I’d be very grateful if you could share anything you may know in this regard. Thanks
They need a letter of invitation that provides the address and contact details of the host in India. You will also need to get a NOC for your guest that a first class gazetted officer has to sign and stamp. Requirements are listed at the Indian consulate website, including link to the PDF of the NOC letter – http://www.india.org.pk/eoi.php?id=Visitor%20Visa&q=1
p.s. Mubarak on your wedding 🙂
Hi,
I wanted to ask that do we need to submit this certificate in original or a scanned print out would suffice? As one Gerry’s visa dropbox is accepting a scanned print but TCS Visatronix are asking for original certificate.
Moreover, how much time do they normally take to issue the visa?
Let me know pls. that the person who is attesting the sponsor certificate for indian visa will provide his ID Card, because some people hesitate to provide their ID Card
I don’t know if the person attesting the Sponsor Certificate needs to provide his ID card. However, the form requires the person’s name, ID card number, designation, rank, and contact details. The form can be downloaded at this link.
Is there any such Pakistan visa sponsorship certificate for Indian nationals? If yes, where can i get it from ? If no, is there any similar and legal way to invite an Indian national ?
Plz do reply me .
I believe Pakistan has now introduced a sponsorship certificate for Indian nationals. Check this website: Directorate General of Immigration & Passports, Ministry of Interior, Government of Pakistan http://bit.ly/PkvisaIndia
There is unfortunately no tourist visa between India and Pakistan, unless people go through approved tour-operators in groups. To see the Indian visa requirements for a Pakistani applicant, visit the Indian embassy website. Here’s the direct link: http://www.india.org.pk/eoi.php?id=Holders&q=1
Hey im a pakistani and my friend has written tourism and pilgramige in the blank of reason for visiting india. He has filled the exact form given above. So is it okay? Because i really want to visit india for sight seeing and meet him. Plus people were hesitating from signing the form and we got a person who was ready to sign it because it mentioned he can get it signed by a principal or headmaster of govt school. However that person was a vice principal and he got the letter signed. Is it ok? Now he has mailed me the scanned copy.. Do i need i need an original one ? Or the scanned one will work?
scan copy will work but you also need a valid service id copy of the gazetted officer of the place where he works ie. grade A officer / 17th grade officer.
i need the sponsorship certificate to be attested, i have talked to 2-3 attestation agengies but none are ready to attest the sponsorship letter. so if possible if you can tell me a attestation agency or any government body, who will get my document attested. i live in Gujarat
Hello Dear,
I am From Pakistan want to apply for visit visa for India.
So i need sponsor certificate , and a man who signed this one,
Please suggest me.
I am from Tharparkar, Sindh Pakistan
You have to first have a host in India who sends you an invitation letter. The host will get your sponsorship certificate attested from a magistrate or any first class gazetted officer, like a University dean. See Indian embassy in Pakistan website for details of other requirements. It’s a long list. Good luck.
Sadly, there is no tourist visa provision for individuals between the two countries so you need to have a host. They did agree to allow tourist groups to travel going through approved tour guides but I don’t think that has taken effect yet. Need to check with the travel agencies and with the respective high commissions. Also see and sign the petition – http://www.change.org/milnedo – which has details.
hi i am dr khan,i m a candidate of MRCP PACES UK,my exam center is kolkatta india for that i need visa for india ,i m pakistani national, when i contacted indian embassy ,they said to provide attested sponsorship certificate,i discussed this to one of my indian colleagues who are doctors n nurses.they said the no one is attesting this form bcoz i m pakistani,so is there any sloution??
Dear Dr Khan, if you’re a bona fide candidate someone should be able to help you. Have you tried contacting the UK Centre and asking them to get the exam centre in India to do the attestation? station. A University Dean can do the sponsorship letter but I suppose they would need all the credentials, and maybe a formal request from the UK Centre.
Hi For the Pakistani Sponsorship certificate we need to get it signed by a Group A officer. Can you help with details of any group A officers in Mumbai who can help me with this.
My Sister based in Dubai holds a Pakistani Passport and is intending to come to India. Also is this Group A officer a gazette officer

please does anybody know in hyderabad india who can sign the sponsor certificate for pakistani national, unable to find one coz hesitate to give their id card its
There is sadly no tourist visa between India and Pakistan. See and sign the petition. You will need to check the India visa website for requirements for Pakistani nationals and get an NOC attested by a magistrate-level officer to invite your friend.
Hi..I am a male Pakistan. Age 45years. My mother..my wife..my 4 kids are all Indian national..In my life I have travelled nearly 25 times from Bahrain. Uae and Pakistan. Now I’m stuck in Islamabad..waiting for my wife to send me attested sponsorship certificate letter which no one is willing to sign for a Pakistani. …when u apply from Dubai only a no is required from wife without attestation. Do I really need a sponsor to visit my Indian mother..wife and 4 kids…Please provide me details of gazetted officer in Hyderabad who will do this attesting for this..I’m staying in a hotel sInce 25th June 2016..somebody out there please help me!!!
So sorry to hear of your plight, can’t offhand think of someone who will help you. A bit confused about your situation – you’re in a hotel in Islamabad or Hyderabad? Where are you a resident of? Best of luck.
Hi I’m from Pakistan. I want to know that does anybody know in Ahmadabad india who can sign the sponsor certificate for pakistani national, unable to find one. My whole nanhyaal lives there, please help me…………
Hi can anyone tell me how to get sponsor certificate from Mumbai India .. as I am an Indian and my wife is a pakistani national we got married in Uae and resident of Dubai none of the gazette officer is ready to sign our sponsor certificate ..I want to travel their with my wife to meet my family.
can any one help me and suggest me any way to get it done.
Sorry to hear about your dilemma. You will need to get a friend or relative in Mumbai to talk to a gazetted officer to sign the form. If you are on Facebook you could join the Aman ki Asha group and ask people there as there are other cross-border couples.
Hi Rehan,
Same case here. i also tried many connections to get the sponsorship certificate attested but nobody is ready to do so. i dont know, they being at such a big post and worrying just to give an attestation, shocks and questions me on their being a human. They have the power but they will not use to help but they are ready to misuse for their own work.
Since we got married, my wife is asking the same question, why nobody is ready to give attestation? till now, she did no meet my all relatives personally including my granny. I think bcoz of the political games, families like us will suffer till the end.
okay thank you.. my friends did try their but none of the official is ready to sign and endorse the certificate as they hear it is for a Pakistani national. is their any legal way or procedure to get it done ??
I read in some post that getting visa depends on your reason of visiting country is meeting my family is not a enough and strong reason..
In our (India-Pakistan) context unfortunately sifarish and connections really matter. Since you’re an Indian national your wife is entitled to get an Indian visa but they make it very difficult. You just need to work your sources until you find someone who knows and trusts the person who is asking. I’m sorry it is so hard. We have a petition out there, Milne Do, that I think we need to update and get more signatures on.
Respected sir, my name is Daniel Henry Devanur i’m Indian, i got married in Pakistan last year since then i’m trying to conceive group A officers but they’re not attesting my wife sponsorship certificate, i spoke to external affairs in Delhi they’re saying Islamabad Indian Embassy will attest sponsorship certificate and when me wife spoken to Indian Embassy they’re saying you have to attest your sponsorship certificate from India what should we do now please help us.
Sorry you are having to go through this. I believe the sponsorship certificate has to be attested by a magistrate-level official in India. You have to find someone who knows you or who knows someone who knows you and who will attest to your ‘good character’ etc.
My question is that in this procedure while we are sponsoring some one do police come for verification to our given address. I mean is this is the part of the whole procedure to sponsor someone for visiting india.
